Occurring every two years, FENATRAN - International Transport Industry Trade Show – is the largest Brazilian event of the segment and one of the largest five in the world in the products and services for multi-modal cargo transporters and logistics operators’ area. The event was born in the 80’s as a result of meetings at Conet (an organ presided over by the NTC and made up by the sector federations, syndicates and representative associations) promoted by the NTC&Logística (National Association for Logistics and the Cargo Transport). It was held for the first time in Gramado (RS) and subsequently held in various capitals of the country such as Natal, Salvador, Belem, Brasília and São Paulo.
With the organization outsourced since the mid 90’s, it began to show expressive growth, and started to be held at the Exhibition Pavilion of Anhembi, in an area of 80 thousand square meters. Today the fair brings together about 355 exhibitors from 15 countries. FENATRAN- International Transport Industry Trade Show is promoted by Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado, with NTC&Logística (National Association of the Cargo Transport & Logistics) and Anfavea – Brazilian Association of the Manufacturers of Automobile Vehicles sponsorship. In addition, it has the support of the ABR – Brazilian Association of the Tires Recuperation Segment; ANFIR – National Association of Road Implements Manufacturers; and Simefre – Interstate Syndicate of the Material and Road and Rail Equipment Industry.
